Curriuculum Overview

The ASCC project has built a team of experienced partners to improve access and to make available online, an enhanced hospital-based, adoption-sensitive care curriculum called Understanding Infant Adoption version 7 (UIA 7) in a cooperative agreement with the Children’s Bureau.

Train The Trainer

In-person training will provide access to the Understanding Infant Adoption version 7 (UIA 7) curriculum that is targeted for hospital-based service providers, doctors, nurses, and staff who provide pregnancy or adoption information and referrals to ensure that expectant parents who wish to place a child for adoption have access to appropriately trained staff and comprehensive supports throughout the adoption process.
