The Understanding Infant Adoption 7 (UIA 7) curriculum is designed to meet the training needs of busy hospital-based staff (HBS). There are a variety of training timeframes available asynchronously via an online Learning Management System. Trainees can choose the course format that best meets their needs for learning about adoption at their own pace.

Recommended For
1 Hour
HBS who come into occasional contact with patients experiencing unplanned pregnancies, or any HBS desiring to learn more about adoption who are unable to take a longer training format
2 hours/4 hours
HBS who regularly serve patients experiencing unplanned pregnancies and who are able to commit to a longer training format for a greater level of detail on the option of adoption
6 Hours
HBS who provide options counseling to patients experiencing unplanned pregnancies and those who desire or need a high level of understanding and detail related to the option of adoption

ASCC training can be accessed for free through our Training Portal. Create an account to log in and get started. Training is mobile-friendly and can be accessed on a computer, laptop, or tablet.
Continuing education credits are available for medical and social work professionals. Participants can choose to receive Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits or Social Work Continuing Education credits when signing up for the training of their choice.
